In engines with very high mileage, the drive base (mounting dome) of the lower pulley is often worn.
In this case, you can change the front crankshaft seal as often as you like, the Opel will still drink oil from the bottom front.
Even if the engine of your Opel oldie has been standing still for years, for example, the lower pulley is often no longer so great because rust has attacked the surfaces.
This solid, turned from solid, lower pulley can then remedy the problem.
The new pulley fits the Opel CIH engines with the flat standard pulley for 1 V-belt.
So for the 1600S/N, 1900 N/S, 2.0 engines etc., as they were installed in the Opel GT 1900, Kadett B CIH, Manta A from 1600 onwards.
